Personally, I don’t feel I’m an overly chatty individual. However, my colleagues would most definitely disagree! So what if I’m the one usually humming, singing and talking to myself. Yes, I often get the urge to break out into song, (I like to keep things entertaining) and of course I spend a few minutes each day shouting at my computer, but seriously, who doesn’t?
As you might have gathered, my fellow employees don’t appreciate my vocal talents, they obviously have terrible taste! There’s also no appreciation for how well I project said vocal talents, might I add. I am by a clear mile the loudest member of staff here at Core CNC and to be perfectly honest, it’s a title I’m quite proud of! So this Red Nose Day, I’ll be taking one for the team and carrying out a Sponsored Silence, much to the disappointment of my fellow employees. My mouth will be wired shut from 9 am on the 12th March until 1 pm on the 13th March.
Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day is a fantastic platform to help raise money for those in need!
“Whether it’s at work, at school or at home, the money raised for Red Nose Day is spent by Comic Relief to transform the lives of millions of people, both at home in the UK and across Africa. In the years since they started out in 1985, with the support of some remarkable people, they’ve achieved amazing things and raised over 950 million pounds! To find out more about the work they do and the projects they fund go to www.comicrelief.com”
So, even though having my mouth proverbially glued shut will no doubt be a struggle, since I’m usually talking a mile a minute. I’m happy to play my part and participate, in the hopes of contributing a little something to this outstanding charity, as here at Core CNC fundraising is very important to us!
